Espresso Martinis Pair with Everything! Even Seafood!

Today I will be discussing a delicious meal that I had at Brine Seafood and Raw Bar located in Sarasota, Florida. My friends and I decided to check this place out while on Spring Break. It was a little bit fancy and we felt a little bit underdressed but the staff were incredibly nice. The service was amazing and our waiter told us all about different spots that we should check out while in Sarasota, Florida. The food and drinks were a bit expensive but it was all so worth it. 

Homemade Focaccia
We started off with the homemade focaccia which was truly incredible. There were four of us and the appetizer came with four large pieces of focaccia bread for only $5. At such a nice restaurant we were shocked to see an appetizer at that price so we had to try it. It was served with olive oil and it was an amazing start to our meal. I would 100% recommend it and definitely get it again if I ever went back. 

Bouillabaisse
For my main course, I ordered the Bouillabaisse which was also incredibly delicious. According to the menu it is corvina, clams, mussels, shrimp, tomato, fennel, saffron seafood broth, and rouille toast. Everything was delicious. The shrimp was a little bit tough as it seemed to be overcooked but other than that I could not complain. The toast with the rouille on top was absolutely delicious. This dish cost $31 which made sense because it was a nicer restaurant. I would recommend this dish but if I went back I would probably try something different. 

Coconut Espresso Martini
For the star of the show, we have the coconut espresso martini. To this day, this is genuinely the best espresso martini I have ever had. The coconut flavor was perfect and the shaved coconut on top was beautiful. I would go to this restaurant just to get a coconut espresso martini. People think of espresso martinis as something you order for dessert but when I saw this on the menu I had to get it immediately. This drink cost $16 which was pricy. However, it was truly the best drink I have ever had so I was willing to spend my money on two. If I ever went back to Sarasota I would definitely want to return to this place!
